Sweet Treat
Short ramblings, shared adventures
Aloha Nō, Ethnomads!
Keili here :)
As I am writing this, I see my tī plants bending down from the strong makani coming in. Praying everyone stays safe and grateful that our community looks out for one another and seems to be better prepared this time around. Hopefully it is not to majah.
Despite the intimidating weather report - menehune must work on!
Chris and I have been sanding and glassing in the garage, building under sheets of plywood, and painting in the rain, lol.
Since this day, we have not had the courage to go back and see if the paint did indeed bleed down the sides from the rains that followed shortly after we put the final coat on. Its in Akuas hands.
As Chris mentioned in our last post, I started a vlog where I post weekly about waʻa work, environmental science work, travels, art, experiments, life in general. So, this week I thought it would be refreshing for us to watch a fun video instead of read my lengthy rambling. I hope you enjoy and share with likeminded menehune!
It is my dream to continue creating these videos and to use them as a platform to grow our community of ragamuffin adventurers. I hope it keeps me accountable to follow my child-like curiosity & joy, despite the world saying to get practical.
